Held many Japanese cooking classes for foreigners, mainly in Zama City, Kanagawa Prefecture
Not only famous Japanese dishes such as ramen, handmade udon, and sushi
We also hold home cooking classes such as katsudon and meat and potatoes.
Gluten-free and vegan are also available

Would you like to play freely with your child using colorful paints and slime? Why don’t you do something that you can’t do at home? “Gucha gucha Asobi'' stimulates children’s curiosity, fuels their imaginations and offers new outlets for self-expression. Children may hesitate when they see paint play for the first time. But as they continue to play with it over and over again, they will gradually become more daring!

- Reservation requiredFujiya (soba noodle restaurant), 6 Chome-32-18 Nishitsuruma, Yamato, Kanagawa 242-0005Would you like to make handmade Soba noodles at the traditional Soba restaurant which has a long history. You can make your own Soba while relaxing in a calm atmosphere different from during the busy day. The Soba noodles that you make yourself with carefully selected Soba flour are exceptional! You can eat freshly made Soba with the owner's special noodle broth and you can take it home if you can’t eat all the Soba then.
- 9th December (Sat)AikawaWould you like to do “Mochitsuki” (Mochi Pounding), a Japanese traditional big event for celebrating the new year. We pound steamed glutinous rice (mochigome) in a large mortar (Usu) with a mallet (Kine) to make mochi sometime around the new year. Fresh Mochi is so delicious and precious! You should come and try it! There are a lot of fun booths there! Bamboo craft, Japanese traditional festival activitiy(Katanuki), Yuzu tea, Kenchin-ziru (Japanese traditional vegetable miso soup)
- 6th, 9th OctoberHachinoheIt’s limited to 5 people. Would you like to try fishing at the sea and cooking them in a traditional Japanese house? If you are a beginner, DON’T WORRY!! You can learn how to fish and cook them from a man who is an expert angler in fishing!! *List of Fish that can be caught: Mackerel, Sardines, Flatfish, Japanese Rockfish, and others.
- 9/24 (Sun)Zama cityIt’s time for the rice we planted in June to be harvested! We’ll be harvesting the golden rice using traditional hand-cutting methods. After working up a sweat, we’ll have a delicate lunch on the field’s edge. Let’s savor freshly cooked rice and Tonjiru, which is a Japanese traditional pork and vegetable miso soup! -We also prepare a vegan soup-Why not join us for a farming experience while feeling the autumn breeze?
- 8th October, SundayEbina*Kids friendly* Katsudon is a popular dish throughout Japan and one of the country’s signature comfort foods. It’s a pork cutlet bowl, where a deep-fried pork cutlet is combined with eggs and onions, then put on top of the rice. At this event, you can not only enjoy Katsudon but also have the opportunity to prepare a light miso soup that pairs perfectly with it.

- 10th September, SundayEbina*Kids friendly* Have you ever seen takoyaki -octopus ball- at a summer festival in Japan? Why not try making homemade takoyaki using a special takoyaki plate? If you're not a fan of octopus, don't worry, you can put cheese, salami, sausages, and more inside! Let's all enjoy a takoyaki party together!
