It’s time to harvest the rice! Join us for a traditional hand-harvesting experience in golden rice fields. After harvesting, you can try your hand at threshing, husking, and polishing the rice by hand. After working up together, let's have lunch on the rice fields! Enjoy freshly cooked rice and ‘’Tonjiru’’ , which is a traditional Japanese pork and vegetable miso soup! Come and experience farm life with us while enjoying the crisp autumn breeze!

Would you like to make handmade Soba noodles at the traditional Soba restaurant which has a long history. You can make your own Soba while relaxing in a calm atmosphere different from during the busy day. The Soba noodles that you make yourself with carefully selected Soba flour are exceptional! You can eat freshly made Soba with the owner's special noodle broth and you can take it home if you can’t eat all the Soba then.

*Kids friendly* There are many kinds of udon in Japan, but why don't you make handmade udon? Handmade udon has the best flavor‼︎ If you learn how to make udon and tips, you will be able to make udon at home‼︎ Also we will make vegetable tempra. *Kakiage too! It’s such a good combination with Udon!!

Would you like to do “Mochitsuki” (Mochi Pounding), a Japanese traditional big event for celebrating the new year. We pound steamed glutinous rice (mochigome) in a large mortar (Usu) with a mallet (Kine) to make mochi sometime around the new year. Fresh Mochi is so delicious and precious! You should come and try it! Also you can make SHIMENAWA and KADOMATSU, traditional Japanese New Year decorations.

Fun5 summer camp is a small-group camp where you can enjoy Japanese nature and cultural experiences that stimulate your five senses in the countryside.
